Mauricio Plazas Torres. mplaza200@yahoo.com   Resumen El nivel de la condición de fobia y su progreso en el paciente son diagnosticados por los doctores sin el dominio de las variables de medida que indican la evolución médica del paciente. La determinación de algunas variables relevantes y poder utilizarlas en el seguimiento de la evolución del paciente y del nivel de la enfermedad, resultan un instrumento de gran utilidad para el doctor. El artículo describe los esfuerzos de llevar a cabo una investigación orientada a medir los signos vitales del paciente colocado en un ambiente relajado y comparar estos resultados con los signos vitales medidos bajo un ambiente virtual que produzca fobia. Al final de esta investigación trataremos de determinar si el ambiente virtual tiene alguna influencia en los cambios sicológicos vistos a través de los signos vitales. Abstract The level of phobia condition and its progress are done by the evaluation that the doctor does of the patient, without having a certain control of the variables of measurement that show an indication of the medical evolution. The possibility of discovering some variables that might be measured and of being able to determine the evolution of the patient and the level of the illness is an instrument of the big utility for the doctor. The article is about the efforts to carry out a research with the goal of measuring vital signs on people who are placed in relaxed environment and then compare them with vital sign measured under conditions of an artificial environment. At the end of this research, we are trying to determine if the virtual environment has any influence in the person’s psychological change seen through the changes of the controlled vital signs.
