Se presenta el software DETrainer, un sistema desarrollado en Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 que muestra aleatoriamente preguntas de tipo test almacenadas en bases de datos independientes al mismo. DETrainer es una herramienta eficaz para que los estudiantes de cualquier nivel comprueben sus conocimientos acerca de temas o asignaturas de diferentes carreras. El sistema genera aleatoriamente las preguntas e incisos a ser mostrados en pantalla, siempre en diferente orden. El estudiante puede responder las preguntas y conocer los fallos cometidos y tiene acceso a un reporte acerca de su trabajo. El sistema se instala sobre Windows 98 o superior, es de fácil utilización y ocupa poco espacio en disco. Contiene Ayuda y Manual de Usuario. Los docentes pueden agregar, eliminar y modificar las preguntas por lo que pueden perfeccionar constantemente las diversas colecciones de preguntas. Palabras clave: Software educativo, Entrenador. DETrainer software, developed in Visual Microsoft Basic 6.0, is presented. It randomly selects and shows questions stored in independent databases to the system. For students of any level, the software represents an effective tool that allows them to check their knowledge about topics or subjects in different careers. The students can answer the questions, know their shortcomings and make a report about their work. The system runs over Windows 98 or superior, it is easy to use and need a little space in disk. It contains Help and User’s Manual. The professors can add, eliminate and modify the questions, in order to constantly perfect the diverse collections. Key words: Educational software, Trainer.
