Email: aguil1967@grannet.grm.sld.cu     Resumen El Hospital Clínico Quirúrgico “Celia Sánchez Manduley” de Manzanillo cuenta con un Servicio de Anatomía Patológica en el que se realizan biopsias, citologías y necropsias para determinar las distintas afecciones que puedan presentar los pacientes. Todo el registro de la información de los pacientes, exámenes y resultados se realiza manualmente. Estos corren el riesgo de deterioro y pérdida, están expuestos a errores humanos en el registro de la información y no permiten obtener de forma rápida los datos de interés. Se propone una herramienta para la automatización del control de la información existente en el Servicio de Anatomía Patológica, mediante un sistema gestor de bases de datos que permita garantizar eficiencia en el registro y consulta de la información, y en la disminución de la ocurrencia de errores humanos. El software permite optimizar el desempeño del personal del servicio de Anatomía Patológica de la entidad. Palabras clave: Sistema gestor de bases de datos, Anatomía Patológica.   Abstract The Clinical Surgical Hospital "Celia Sánchez Manduley" of Manzanillo has a Service of Pathological Anatomy that carries out biopsies, cytologies and autopsies to determine the different affections that patients can have. The whole registration of the information of the patients, exams and results are carried out manually. These run the risk of deterioration and loss, they are exposed to human errors in the registration of the information and they don't allow obtaining in a quick way the data of interest. A tool is then suggested for the automation of the control of the current information in the Service of Pathological Anatomy, by means of an agent system of databases that allows guaranteeing efficiency in the registration and consultation of the information, and in the drop of the occurrence of human errors. The software allows optimizing the work of the personnel of the service of Pathological Anatomy of the entity. Key words: Database management system, Pathological Anatomy.
